The City of Sisak in collaboration with the Agency for Local Democracy Sisak (Volunteer Center Sisak) has created the document Program for the Development of Volunteerism of Sisak for the period 2023-2027.

Sisak strives to promote active citizenship and citizen participation in decision-making. Participating in volunteer work is one of the ways citizens can make a positive impact on society. Volunteering allows citizens to express their skills, interests, and talents and actively take part in solving local problems. As a result, people will be able to live a better life. The Volunteer Development Program recognizes, supports, and promotes the unique value and contribution of volunteers to our community.

Creating this program gives Sisak an opportunity to highlight the importance of volunteering to citizens and society.
